CAISBE Holds Quarterly Meeting to Review Progress and Chart Path Forward

CAISBE Holds Quarterly Meeting to Review Progress and Chart Path Forward The Canada Africa Institute for the sustainable built environment (CAISBE) recently convened a strategic meeting to review operational reports covering the past three months and to set clear priorities for the next quarter. During the session, leaders examined progress across four core areas: membership development, advocacy, capacity building, and educational initiatives. The discussion focused on achievements, challenges, and measurable outcomes recorded since the previous reporting period. Members also conducted a candid evaluation of the institute’s overall performance. Strengths were acknowledged, gaps identified, and concrete adjustments proposed to strengthen delivery of the organization’s mandate. Looking ahead, CAISBE outlined directions for the next three months aimed at advancing the same priority areas. Targets were refined and timelines established to ensure sustained momentum. A key decision emerging from the meeting was the commitment to expand strategic partnerships. The institute plans to broaden collaborations with relevant institutions, government agencies, and civil-society organizations to amplify impact in membership growth, policy advocacy, skills development, and educational programming. Officials expressed confidence that the outcomes of the meeting will guide more focused and effective work in the coming quarter.
